How to store Shimla apples at home

Keep apples away from direct sunlight and heat. A cool, dry, ventilated space is best if you plan to finish the box quickly.

For longer freshness, move apples to the refrigerator after opening the box. Do not wash apples before storage because extra moisture can reduce shelf life.

If one apple is bruised, use it first and keep it away from the rest. Small handling marks can happen in fresh fruit, but quick sorting helps protect the box.
